Special handling hints you should follow to ensure proper framing and
maintenance, and to prevent damage.
sides of the acrylic have a protective masking of polyethylene film.
remove this protective masking until you are ready to insert in frame. Never
slide panels over each other, a table, or other flat surfaces. This can remove
the masking and expose the finished surface to damage, such as scratching.
always handle the acrylic by the edges or wear clean, soft cotton gloves.
you are ready to insert the sheet into the frame, it is recommended to peel
the protective masking from only the edges of the side that will face out.
Remove the rest after the frame is completed.
the acrylic is fitted in the frame, remove all the masking from the side that
goes up against the art or mat.
remove any finger prints and to eliminate static buildup, use a weak solution
of liquid dish washing detergent and warm water. Wipe the area gently with a
soft, lint-free cloth. Allow the surface to air dry completely.

the frame is finished, complete the removal of the protective sheet from the
NEVER USE AMMONIA TURPENTINE BASED CLEANERS, or ABRASIVE CLEANERS.
cleaning is required after the frame is in use, wash only as above. 3M cleaning fluids, 3M microfiber cloths and anti-static materials.
