Defective Miter Vises

Defective miter vises both 4" and 7" models. The movable jaws on these vises were NOT drilled and threaded in a straight line with the stationary jaw. (misalignment varies from vise to vise). The original miter vises (good ones), sold for $45.00 and $65.00 each respectively.

If you want to take a chance that you can make them work it is a bargain... for those that like the mechanical challenge.

People have fashioned; with glue and mat board, a shim pack for the movable jaw to make them more precise. We bought and paid for about 500 these defective miter vises from Jason Tools of China.
