VN44... what is a VN44.  It is a VN4 with two joy sticks instead of one.  The VN44 was made for a period of time about ten years ago.  This VN44 has an air regulator and oilier with an adjustable stand. ITW-AMP  VN44

 

 
 
After the Framer sets the stops, the hand lever is then used to position the nail head for driving or stacking v nails any where along the frame joint.  This makes sure that the vertical support is always above where the v nail is being inserted.
