The FUTURE Lite electronic automated mat board cutting machine is manufactured to the highest quality standards, making it an extremely rugged, durable and an exceptionally well engineered machine. FUTURE is capable of doing all cutting from the front and cuts single or multiple openings, v-grooves and pre-assembled double and triple mats without having to remove the mat from the machine. This feature alone saves hours of work and is a great advantage that no other machine can offer. The "Future Mat Designer" software offers unlimited design possibilities, from simple openings with v-grooves to complicated multi-openings of different shapes. Create or import designs and fonts from CorelDraw®.  Simple, effective pneumatic clamping along two sides. No special vacuum pumps required. The  Future Lite has the flexibility to accommodate matting materials and design concepts of the future.

 

 

EFFICIENT
The machine is equipped with one 45 degree cutting head for the window cut (rectangular and circular) as well as for trimming the mats - outer edges. The quality and performance of the blade and of the cutting head is essential to any mat board cutting machine. The knife head is fully adjustable for the thickness of the board. (from 2ply to 8ply and the depth of v-groove)

 

PRECISE
Future blades are meticulously produced from the finest steel and sharpened to a precisely controlled edge. Blades are inexpensive and will cut from 90 up to 140 average openings depending on the quality of the mat used as well as the mat size.  No other mat cutter has blades of this quality. Changing the blade is fast and simple and can be done in 30 seconds or less. Blades can be changed at any time, even during the work cycle without leaving the program

 

USER FRIENDLY
Operating controls are conveniently located on the left hand side of the machine. Simple, user friendly controls operate start/stop cycle, cutting speed and cutting head rotation. Pause/Continue function allows you to stop in the middle of the work cycle and resume working from the same point.

TRANSPARENT
Powerful, quiet Servo motors (not stepper motors) effortlessly drive the cutting head. Digital electronics coupled with linear bearings ensure precise cutting paths and perfect results. Components of the motor, the motor pulley and belt can be seen through the clear cover.
